We are pleased to announce that on June 20, 2008, Shepard Bros., Inc. acquired the metal finishing product lines and customer base of Ichem Inc. This acquisition is part of our long term strategy to grow our business in this significant market sector.
The addition of the Ichem products to the Water Treatment Division’s metal finishing product line will further broaden our specialty chemical offerings to this industry and our new Ichem customers will benefit from the technical expertise, quality products, superior service, and unwavering responsiveness to customer needs that are the core of our business reputation.
The Ichem products will be manufactured at our La Habra, California site which houses a state-of-the-art production facility as well as our customer analytical services and product development laboratory while sales and service will be delivered by our team of experienced professionals from the Water Treatment Division.
